Lavender Geranium

This wild geranium grew in my yard and it has a beautiful lavender color. Although the lily of the valley surrounded this one plant, it survives and produces more flowers than last year.

I love this little plant as the flowers are so pretty. The flowers close at night and open during the day.

  6. Lovely image -- it's so wonderful to have flowers around and very interesting that they close up in the evening light..a lot of wild flowers seem to do that like the Sego Lily and cactus flowers etc..

  7. I have seen those, only pink. They grow by the light house.
My lily of the valley is spent, but I think I'll plant something like that.
