C Is For Clover

White Clover

I believe everyone has at least some patches of white clover flowers in their grass. Since they are so common, and considered weeds, they don't get the much needed attention. Clover has many health benefits to human kind, and you can read it here.

White Clover With a Touch of Lavender
I am lucky to have a mix of both white and pink clovers in my yard. Some are completely pink, and some are completely white, but at times there were a touch of pink on white.

Pink Clover
I have been taken so many photos of this pink clover, and each time they came out differently. I guess with practices, the photos look better each year.

Glorious Pink Clover
Isn't this beautiful? At each stage of growing, the clovers have their own way of showing how fantastic they are! You just have to crouch down on the grass to look at them closely.

  2. I love your perspective. Some may call it a weed, but it's a beautiful flower. I couldn't agree more.

I'm oddball enough to think a dandelion is lovely too.

  11. Pretty white clover blossoms, Mumsy. When young I always used to look for four leaved stem on them but never did find any. I have found some in Ireland. http://jimmiehov.blogspot.com/2011/03/happy-saint-patricks-day-four-leaf.html

  12. I love to see little rabbits nibbling on the clover early in the morning. It is such a sweet scene. Speaking of sweet, my friend, owner of a therapeutic riding school, says that the horses love to eat clover. It is like candy to them!! Great post.
