An Extraordinary Flower

Extraordinary Looking Flower
I took these photos at Lowes, last year, and had no idea what it was called. I remembered this beautiful pink flower was much taller than I am, and I just held my camera above my head to snap. Somehow, it turned out!

Gorgeous Petals
Since Lowes and many other stores didn't like me to take pictures inside their stores, I had to just sneak and snapped a few. I loved the multiple petals of this gorgeous pink flower! It was extraordinary looking.

Inside the Heart
I was lucky to see this full bloomed on a lower branch, and was able to get a macro shot! I could easily shoot this flower until my battery died, but since I had to watch out for workers, I was forced to be contented with whatever I had.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

  13. Beautiful interesting shots!

  14. Do not fret....I was just as bad yesterday. There is this gorgeous creek bank filled with tiny bloodroot flowers. The people who own the place apparently only come in summer and/or weekends. Well, yesterday they were in full bloom so I daringly parked in their driveway - did not go over the bridge to where the someplace is - and then walked up the road a good bit and started taking pictures. The whole time I was scared to death someone was going to come out of the house with a gun....we do live in the country. Well, I did survive unscathed and the pictures turned out beautifully just as yours did. Yours are big and beautiful and mine are small and stark white with yellow centers. Loved your post and really did have a good giggle thinking about the two of us. genie

  15. Breathtaking! Can they blame you for wanting to capture them?

  16. Great shots! They are beautiful! Visiting from Pink Saturday!
