Pink Hydrangea

This is another bush of pink hydrangea flowers at my sister's house. She has two huge ones at the front entrance and at the back entrance. They are blooming so beautifully, and mine got eaten up by pesky squirrels.

I caught the squirrel dug up the root and carried it away! Arrg...I was very upset but there was nothing else I can do. So now I have to enjoy my sister's flowers instead.

  7. Beautiful hydrangeas, I love that pink color. My squirrels have never bothered my hydrangeas but they think I planted the sunflowers just for them.

  8. Mumsy Squirrels are a pest can you believe some people feed these rodents.. Your sister's hydrangea is gorgeous.... perhaps another try and a little chicken wire to protect it from these rascally rodents.

  12. Those petals are gorgeous Mumsy! The squirrels dig in my mother's pots all the time - very frustrating.

  13. Oh dear, squirrels can be a challenge to the gardener but your photographs of your sister's hydrangea are wonderful, and your header photo is stunning.

  14. Thank goodness for your sister so the beauty can keep coming. These are so lovely.
I've noticed that hydrangeas, both pink and blue, have grown huge in Minnesota's hot, muggy summer.

  15. Just hate it when the critters dig up things in the garden, or take bites out of my tomatoes. Sorry you lost your hydrangea. It's a lovely picture you took of your sister's. Better luck to you next year.
